Abu Jafar Mohammad Sufian obtained his bachelor and masters in Statistics from Dhaka University, Bangladesh, and PhD from Michigan State University, USA. Dr. Sufian, a former faculty of Jahangirnar University, Dhaka, Bangladesh (1974-86), was a Professor of Statistics and Research Methodology at King Faisal University, Dammam, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (1986-2001), University of Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain, (2001-2018), and United International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh (2019-2020). His papers appeared in many professional journals, published internationally. Dr. Sufian also authored the book titled Stochastic Processes and Their Applications in Business.
